How to  Install Android 4.1.2 Jelly Bean on Samsung Galaxy Note N7000

Here is a step by step guide to install / update Android 4.1.2 Jelly Bean on Samsung Galaxy Note N7000, It is a version Official android 4.1.2 Jelly Bean  XXLSA for Samsung Galaxy Note N7000 and it works perfectly and without any problem . If you want the install on your Galaxy Note N7000, follow the guide below.

Please note that this guide is only for Samsung Galaxy Note N7000, no other model is supported. So make sure you have the model Galaxy Note N7000. 

Step 1 - Download the firmware N7000XXLSA_N7000OXALSA_DBT.zip 

Step 2 - N7000XXLSA_N7000OXALSA_DBT.zip Unzip the file to a folder on your desktop. 

Step 3 - Download Odin3 v3.04, Odin is used to flash the firmware , kernels, etc. - on the phones Samsung. We will use Odin to flash files firmware obtained in step 2. Download Odin3-v3.04.zip

Step 4 - Extract the contents of the file Odin3-v3.04.zip into a folder on your computer. 

Step 5 - Turn off your phone and wait until it stops completely. 

Step 6 - Put the Galaxy Note in download mode, press and hold both buttons: Volume Down + Power + Menu, as shown in the picture below

A warning screen appears, press Volume Up to continue to go into download mode. 

Step 7 - Open Odin by double clicking on the file-Odin3 v3.04.exe (step 4). 

Step 8 - Click on the PDA button in Odin, then locate and select the file CODE_N7000XXLSA_549786_REV02_user_low_ship.tar obtained in step 2.

Step 9 - Then, click the Phone button in Odin, then locate and select the MODEM_N7000XXLSA_REV_05_CL1222228.tar you got the Step 2.

Step 10 - Finally, click the button in Odin CSC, and locate and select the file CSC_OXA_N7000OXALSA_549786_REV02_user_low_ship.tar 

Step 11 - Leave everything else in Odin as it is. Make sure Re-partition is not checked 

Step 12 - Connect your phone to the PC. You should get the message "Added!" Under box Odin message at the bottom left . If you do not receive this message, then there is probably a problem with the drivers (drivers). Make sure all drivers are installed. In addition, if you have Kies installed on your PC, be sure to uninstall it completely. 

Step 13 - Press the START button to begin flashing the firmware on the phone . When flashing is complete, your phone will automatically reboot - and when you see the Samsung logo, you can disconnect the cable safely. In addition, you will get a message PASS (on a green background) in the area left at the top of Odin.

What if Odin is blocked? If Odin3 is blocked and does not seem to be anything, or you get a message FAIL (with red background) in ODIN, unplug the phone from the computer, close ODIN, remove the battery from the phone , reinsert it, then repeat the procedure from step 6.

Step 14 - [Important] Once you get the message PASS and the phone rebooted but stuck at boot animation. If this occurs, follow the steps below to do re-start properly. If your phone has already started, skip these steps, the flash has been done successfully. Remember that these steps will erase your personal data, such as contacts , applications, messages, etc.

1 Start in recovery mode - Remove the battery from the phone and reinsert it, and press the buttons at the same time "Volume up + Power + Menu". When the screen turns on, release the buttons to start the recovery. Once you are in recovery mode, use the volume keys to move the selection up and down and the power button (on / off) to select the option.
2 Go and select "Wipe data / factory reset" and select Yes on the next screen.
3 Then select "reboot system now" to restart the phone , which will then start properly.
